FAQ
Does My car have to be new to get it ceramic coated?
Your car does not have to be new to get a ceramic coating applied, we can coat cars of all ages. A ceramic coating is a chemically bonded layer of protection for your car, meaning that paint imperfections such as rock chips do not affect the coating. Cars with clear coat failure, heavy oxidation, or any other catastrophic damage to the paint unfortunately cannot be coated.
What if something happens to my car after it was coated
As much as we want to protect your vehicle, we get that accidents happen. If you get your car ceramic coated with us and part of the car has to be repainted after the coating, we will re-coat that section with the ceramic coating of your package free of charge. Please wait at least 1 month after repaint to get the coating re applied.
How do I take care of my coating?
The main point is to try and avoid the automatic car washes. We recommend that you bring the car back at least twice a year so we can clean and refresh your coating. If you do hand wash your car at home, it is recommended to use a PH-neutral soap, while using an iron remover every 6 months, and using a SiO2 ceramic sealant.
What is the process for the wheels-off coating?
When you ask for us to take the wheels off and fully coat them. We lift the car by the manufacturer’s specified locations, clean the wheels thoroughly, prep the surface for the coating, and apply a high heat-resistant, wheel-specific ceramic coating. We then reinstall the wheels, torquing them to the manufacturer’s specifications.
